Riots, pacific demonstrations that go wrong everywhere in the world… Let\u00b4s talk about something else.<\/p>\n

I have had that feeling again,\u00a0which\u00a0words cannot possibly contain – awesomeness? Incredulity?<\/p>\n

Last night, there was this Iron Maiden<\/a> gig at The O2 <\/a>in Greenwich.\u00a0 It was my first time \"Metal<\/a>seeing them, and although it was not the first big gig I had ever attended, I still can\u00b4t\u00a0believe I was there. All my life looking forward to being able to enjoy\u00a0music in big venues\u00a0and in small venues, and in London! There I was, enjoying the energy that Maiden displayed on stage (I wanna have the same energy when I hit\u00a050!)<\/p>\n

I had the same feeling\u00a0a few other times. For example, when I saw Muse<\/a> for the first time or whenever I take a stroll in London or visit any of those cities that everyone seems to have been to. I had to kick myself to make sure the image I was seeing on the stage was not some sort of\u00a0augmented reality<\/a>\u00a0 of\u00a0Muse, London Eye<\/a>, etc.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0also works when I see movies or watch TV series. I saw this Sherlock Holmes<\/a> (Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law) movie with friends, back at home, some 2 years ago. I could recognise and relate to\u00a0most of the places shown! Just like this other Sherlock<\/a> TV series, which is set up in our times. I could even recognise the Top Shop on The Strand!!<\/p>\n

I reckon that it is all related to the fact that\u00a0 did not use to do any travel, anything when I was at home. Having someone else to share some those experiences has helped too. I\u00b4m also growing old…<\/p>\n

Have you ever had this \u00b4I can\u00b4t believe I\u00b4m here\u00b4 or \u00b4I know that place\u00b4 feeling?<\/p>\n
