Have you taken up painting during lockdown? Alida started to paint recently, and she’s already had an order! Read her story below

I took up painting to release some of the stress the lockdown was causing.

I’d never painted before. But, I started to paint as soon as the acrylics and canvases I’d ordered arrived, and I loved it! Painting can be very challenging and distracting at the same time. Right now, I could be painting all day non-stop.

The abstract lion below is the second piece I painted, which took me 14 hours to finish. I decided to paint a lion because a friend, who loves lions, asked me to paint one for him after seeing my first piece.

I’ve already started on my third painting, a portray of my cat. I will keep you posted folks!
