Picture Wednesday – Chinese New Year London
The Chinese New Year celebrations in London on Sunday were packed with photo opportunities. People of all ages and nationalities crowded China Town and its surroundings. Little kids were dressed up in traditional costumes, as well as horses, since this is the year of the horse.
There were different types of performances across two stages – a huge stage in Trafalgar Square and a smaller one just at the entrance of China Town, as well as in the Horse and Dolphin Yard inside China Town. Also, too much street food around! We managed to get some yummy dim sum at a very busy restaurant in China Town.
Someone told me that the Chinese New Year celebrations in London outdo those in New York – I bet they’re right!
Thank you for reading my post, and happy New Year, Kung Hei Fat Choi!!

Wasn’t it fun? I’m so glad we went! I love that photo of the dragon in Wardour Street!
Yes, it was! I had a great time, and everyone was so happy.
That looks like fun. We celebrated by a large group of us going out for Chinese food. Yours looks like a lot more fun.
